Epoka

Epoka is the name of a continent as well as the world (no need to name them separately if yours is the only known continent in the world. Actually there is also the small continent of Derobeie but its existence is not important to most people). It is inhabited by various races of humans (but no elves or other humanoid intelligent species). Magic is prevalent in this world, and an integral part of people’s lives. The technology level is roughly comparable to 17th century Europe (although I claim many creative freedoms).

 

The world of alweyns

This world includes three continents inhabited by three main races. Regular humans, the tall and pointy-eared wieras, and petite gnomes.

Supernatural abilities are very rare among mortals. Magic is held by immortal supernatural beings called alweyns, which are silent protectors of the world. Outwardly, alweyns look similar to humans but unlike them have pointy ears. They are invisible and untouchable until they choose to interact with the world. Each alweyn has a unique special ability or two. Mortals are scared of them as they are known to kill humans (they only kill „evil“ people however their crimes might not have been known to the public).

 

Kiret’s world

Kiret lives in a forest that has been cursed with eternal night. With the help of gods, life in the forest has adapted to the dark. Nothing is known to Kiret about the rest of the world.

Magic in this world is based on sacrifices and rituals to gods.
