PERSONALITY
He's kind of a fanatic and there's not a single thing he isn't taking seriously. He is obsessively striving to be a good person, a good sorcerer and overall do everything right. He is very hard on himself, even punishes himself for mistakes he makes. Needless to say he ends up unsatisfied with himself since it's simply not possible for a human to be perfect. However, he is stubborn and strong-willed so he never stops trying.
He might be the most naive adult you have ever met. He believes everything his former master told him and don't you dare to imply his master could be wrong.
He might look tough on the outside, but he is in fact very sensitive, often having to conceal his tears.
He is reclusive and silent. I wanted to say he doesn't open up to people easily but I don't think he EVER fully opens up. He somehow managed to become close with his apprentice Tim Safró nonetheless although it took a long time.
He dislikes small talk and only ever speaks if he has something to say. He avoids talking about his feelings. When Tim asks him a question he doesn't want to answer, he often ignores him and pretends he didn't hear anything.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Valdor wears purple hair as a sign that he's a "purple sorcerer" (he mainly uses purple magic). His natural hair colour was brown. His eyes have a dark blue colour.
He's quite muscular as he exercises daily. However, he's too insecure to show his skin so you will never see his muscles. He always wears long sleeves and trousers, even in summer. He wears a long leather coat.

EXTRA
Purple magic is the easiest - it's the basic colour of magic, the one young apprentices learn first. Valdor never mastered any other colour of magic although he learned the very basics of orange magic (the hardest one). He isn't a very talented sorcerer.
Now go on and imagine his frustration.
